As an International Trade Compliance professional, you will provide critical guidance to our Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (“IWSS”) line of business, enabling our customers to stay ahead of ready through advanced situational awareness and deterrence. Through collaboration with our program management teams, you will provide objective, comprehensive, innovative, and proactive trade compliance solutions to support growth and program execution.
The Work:
Experienced International Trade Compliance professional to support the RMS IWSS Line of Business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the U.S. Export control laws and regulations including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and export Administration Regulations (EAR). In this role you will be responsible for:
•Performing as the Export Control Coordinator (ECC) and primary point of contact for IWSS’s radar programs.
•Preparation, implementation, and modification of export and import license applications, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing license agreements, and exemption or exception usage to support program execution and new business opportunities.
•Collaborating with various functional stakeholders to define licensing requirements and develop licensing strategy.
•Provide guidance and ensure compliance with export authorizations.
•Researching, interpreting, and applying government regulations such as the ITAR and EAR.
•Conducting compliance activities such as ITC training for program teams on the scope of export licenses and interpretation of provisos.
•Conducting export compliance self-assessments to ensure compliance with terms of relevant licenses and LM policies and procedures.
•Reviewing and approving requests for the export of hardware, data, and defense services.
•Reviewing EEI filings for accuracy, reconciling licenses, reviewing and approving Visit requests, reviewing documentation for Export Controlled Information.
Plans and coordinates export and import authorization strategy to support international business pursuits to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures. Develops and executes plan to obtain various types of export/import authorizations, including licenses, agreements, permits and applicable exemptions or exceptions for export or import of goods, technology, information and services. Maintains oversight and manages compliance with export/import authorizations. Researches and resolves customer, subcontractor, and supplier trade compliance requirements or concerns. Interfaces with internal and external import/export organizations worldwide. Negotiates with foreign customers to develop handling agreements. Establishes and maintains relationships with government licensing authorities and technology release decision makers to ensure that the companys position is conveyed and understood. Supports review of jurisdiction and classification of hardware, software and technical data. Establishes requirements and provides guidance for license application development. Monitors and provides support for license applications. Develops and conducts training and manages licensing and compliance actions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Secret Clearance.
• DoD IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP is required before applying.
• Must have experience implementing NIST SP800-53 Security Controls, including evaluating and implementing STIGs using tools such as Evaluate-STIG, SCAP, Ansible, and PDQ, as well as experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
• Must have experience performing continuous monitoring of system security controls, including vulnerability scanning and remediation using tools such as Splunk and ACAS.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and build and maintain effective team and customer relationships.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions, and stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities and apply this knowledge to improve the organizations security posture.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
• Previous experience as an Information System Security Officer or Information System Security Manager, with a strong understanding of DoD Security Directives, Policies, Publications, and Regulations.
• Experience with SPLUNK, including data analysis, visualization, configuration and management, as well as experience with other security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, to automate security tasks and workflows.
• Experience with ePO, including managing and deploying endpoint security solutions.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
