As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines:
- You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. - You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6. Your eligibility to participate in this benefit will be in accordance with the normal practices and guidelines of the Company. - You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
- You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
- You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.

Additional information:
- The starting annual salary for this position is between $80,000.00 and $90,000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50 or more.

Job Responsibilities
- Be the chief representative of Contour Airlines in Chicago O’Hare, representing the organization at all airport functions and fostering strong relationships with multiple business partners.
- Serve as the main point of contact for support of all ORD-based Contour employees. In addition to Airports, this includes supporting Flight Ops, Inflight, and Tech Ops with any local administrative requests (parking, badging).
- Laise with all Contour commercial airline partners to ensure seamless gating and interline baggage transfers.
- Be the main voice to communicate with the Contour System Operations Control (SOC) in Smyrna, TN.
- Maintain all qualifications and training of the Cross-Utilized Airport Agent position.
- Direct oversight of all Contour Airport Operations and personnel for the Chicago O’Hare operation.
- Oversee functional responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Airport Operations, including training and compliance, operational performance, and baggage performance
- Ensure that all airport ground operations comply and operate within current Company policies and Federal Regulations.
- Plan staffing levels. Work with Human Resources to recruit, select, hire, train, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
- Coordination with multiple business partners on staffing levels and performance expectations.
- Laise with the City of Chicago to ensure SIDA badging program and corporate real estate initiatives are successful.
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
- Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with Company policies and procedures and Federal Regulation.
- Developing personal growth opportunities
- Accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development training and opportunities
- Disciplining employees as needed.
- Maintaining quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing, and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations, cover for absenteeism and overtime scheduling.
- Maintain weekly input of employee timecards/hours worked for payroll
- Maintain thorough knowledge of policies and processes pertaining to unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, hazardous materials, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Contour Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program and complete yearly management training to maintain trained observer status.
- Promptly communicate any event or challenges involving the local operation with Management and/or Corporate Dispatch
- Respond to and take proactive measures to minimize irregular operations and customer inconvenience.
- Completing required reports and audits to satisfy Company and regulatory requirements
- Investigating and analyzing problems [e.g., damage to aircraft, Letters of investigation (LOIs)]. With respect to a finding, formulate a response and possible corrective action
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
