Air Canada is seeking a Content & Partnerships Manager, IFEC to join our growing team. In this role, youll combine creative and strategic thinking to shape exceptional entertainment experiences for our customers, drive content partnerships, and help us meet key financial and brand objectives.You will lead the end-to-end execution of our in-flight content roadmap, from monthly editorial planning to partner onboarding and campaign delivery. Your cultural awareness, business acumen, and relationship-building skills will be critical in sourcing compelling content, developing sponsorship opportunities, and delivering a best-in-class entertainment experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the monthly In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) editorial calendar, including content curation, merchandising strategies, and partner-driven campaigns.Coordinate the implementation of on-board content across IFE, connectivity, and digital advertising platforms.Source and manage content assets from studios, service providers, and sponsors—ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with metadata requirements.Liaise with content distributors, spaneting teams, and internal stakeholders to promote cross-channel initiatives.Collaborate with partners and internal departments to plan and execute integrated campaigns aligned with business priorities.Monitor and track annual budgets for licensed content, new initiatives, and vendor invoicing.Conduct monthly QA of IFE content flow, title placement, and promotional imagery; lead improvements based on performance and feedback.Support revenue growth through scalable partnerships, contract optimization, and strategic prioritization.Provide detailed reporting and insights into audience engagement and content performance to inform editorial and business decisions.
Qualifications3+ years of experience in content management, media partnerships, or entertainment-related rolesBachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or BusinessStrong understanding of the Media and Entertainment industry, including content trends and digital consumptionKnowledge or exposure to Air Canada’s products and brand is an assetSolutions-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProficiency with content management systems and familiarity with digital media workflowsProven client and partner management skills with a customer-first mindsetExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; French is an assetStrong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
