Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector, where youll perform manual labor on a production line, focusing on assembling parts for satellite systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and precision of our satellite sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a production team to assemble parts.
• Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
• Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.
• Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
• Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
• Pack, seal, and move boxes efficiently.
• Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
• Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, blueprint reading, wiring, and quality inspection.
• Proficiency in quality control and visual inspection.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with blueprints and sheet metal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S
• Associates degree or certificate in a technical area preferred.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
• Experience in the space or aeronautical field is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a clean room environment where you will be required to wear smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers to maintain the integrity and quality of our products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
