Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description
Join one of the world’s leading industrial groups in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled hangar located in Tucson, Arizona. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring airworthiness and quality requirements are met and documented in compliance with all applicable regulations. With 16 lines of maintenance on the CRJ line and new lines coming soon, this is a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented according to applicable regulations.
- Conduct weighing procedures following customer-recommended practices and procedures.
- Obtain associated documentation upon aircraft arrival, complete aircraft records, and perform incoming inspections.
- Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs.
- Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft inspections under FAR 145, 121, 135 or military.
- Experience with CRJ airframes and MRO/Heavy Maintenance.
- Knowledge of special tooling and machinery used in detail inspection and aircraft part fabrication.
- Ability to calculate tolerances using calibrated measuring devices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documents.
- Competency in using and interpreting a variety of precision measurement instruments.
- Ability to pass hearing and vision tests.
- Effective communication skills in English for both verbal and written aircraft maintenance actions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Possession of an A&P License is preferred.
- Basic set of tools required.
- Ability to pass an FAA Drug Test and Background Check.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled environment with 12-hour shifts. Be prepared for a flexible schedule that includes working 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, and 4 days off. Uniforms are provided, and there is potential for permanent employment with good performance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
