You will be the Engineer for the Precision Fires (MFOM) Launchers team. Our team is responsible for supporting a production launcher program, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful procurement and issue resolution.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the production program, collaborating with a small team and stakeholders to drive results. Your role will involve working with Engineering SMEs, Manufacturing, Quality, and GSC to resolve supplier-related issues and aid in procuring parts.

Your responsibilities will include:
•3D model design and drawing release
•Supplier support and shop liaison
•Presentations internally and to customers
•Possible transition to Material Review Board (MRB) and cost account work
•Occasional air travel to suppliers or production support sites

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Bachelors) with minimum 5 years professional years of experience
Proficient in Creo/PTC Windchill
Experience with GD&T
Good communication skills, experienced with MF office SW suite.
Willingness to occasionally travel in support of production and supplier visits.
Desired Skills:
Experience with vehicle design, production or manufacturing
Manufacturing and supplier support experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
