You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the ATWS - MLD Depot team. Our team is responsible for performing rework, repairs, and testing activities for customer-fielded hardware, ensuring seamless depot operations and delivering high-quality results.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance and repair of complex electro-mechanical assets, sub-assemblies, and components. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, test engineering, quality, and software, to achieve depot operation goals.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Performing maintenance tasks on customer deliverable assets, modules, circuit cards, panels, and cables
•Assessing product needs according to engineering documentation, company and MIL standards, and customer requirements
•Troubleshooting and dispositioning repairs for customer-fielded hardware
•Interfacing effectively with multiple functional groups to achieve completion of depot operation activities

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the a Final Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• IPC J-STD-001 certified or equivalent
• Familiarity with depot level maintenance procedures and repair methods
• Experience with following Engineering drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Industry/MIL standards, and Asset Management System (AMS) instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills. Excellent record-keeping of lab activities is a must.
• Ability to read Engineering documentation and troubleshoot circuit cards
• Support Engineering development and Production teams. Communicate with other disciplines within the Engineering arena and provide feedback, data, and recommendations.
• Experience with following test requirements and procedures
- Use microscope, manually align parts before soldering, identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, components and any out solder defects that may occur during the with soldering surface mount (SMT) operation.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
- Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government property
- Ability to perform electrical measurements and analysis using a variety of tools, measurement, and test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, network analyzers and waveform generators) to verify compliance to engineering specifications and tolerances
• Ensure efficient procedures are captured to support the current process and cross-training. Perform process improvement initiatives and upkeep documented procedures.
• Ability to support satellite depots in engineering troubleshoot and disposition for sub-assemblies.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
